   TEMA 4.4: CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR

Diciembre es una época de celebraciones alegres, tanto lo que se celebre sea la Navidad, Hanukkah o Kwanzaa. Es un tiempo de dar regalos y de reflexión. Es una época de estar con la familia y con los amigos y de poner a un lado las diferencias. En todos los centros educativos de España celebramos también la fiesta de fin de trimestre con festivales y otras celebraciones.

Los objetivos didácticos que pretendemos con nuestros alumnos son:

·         Suscitar el interés por la típica figura anglosajona de Papá Noel.

·         Ayudar a los alumnos a asociar las Navidades con una época para hacer regalos además de recibirlos.

·         Consolidar el leguaje de las unidades vistas anteriormente en un contexto nuevo.

·         Ayudar a elaborar un juguete móvil sencillo.

·         Dar la oportunidad de dibujar y hacer postales, regalos y manualidades típicos de esta época del años.

·         Desarrollar las habilidades comunicativas: mímica, gestos, expresión facial, tono de la voz, etc.

En cuanto a los criterios principales de evaluación, los niños deberían:

·         Mostrar mayor seguridad con el lenguaje y las rutinas repasadas.

·         Reaccionar positivamente y reconocer la figura de Papá Noel, respetando las tradiciones culturales de los demás.

·         Tener ganas de que llegue la Navidad.

·         Aceptar las normas de buena educación y practicarlas en inglés.

·         Mostrar creatividad y placer por las producciones propias.
