Esta canción/juego implica cogerse de las manos y moverse dado vueltas en círculo al cantar los versos de la primera estrofa y cada vez que se repita. Esta primera estrofa es alternada con otras en donde se van realizando distintas acciones. Una de las versiones más conocidas de la canción es como sigue:
